Junior /Senior         Infants

2019 2020

Welcome video for incoming Junior Infants, 2020.

Dear Junior Infants, 2020.
Please click on the file below to download a welcome video from your teacher, Mrs Workman. She is very excited about meeting you all after the summer.

Good Afternoon Parents,

I have thoroughly enjoyed my first week getting to know your children in the Junior/ Senior Infant Classroom. The class has been delightful, and together we have enjoyed learning a range of topics. We have learnt about changes over time, including 'The Seasons' and 'Night and Day.' Furthermore, the students have practiced role playing the story 'The Little Red Hen,' and have shown they can work as superb team members whilst exploring 'What makes us healthy?' A big well done to all the students this week!

I have attached some photographs of the students enjoying the nice weather whilst reading, doing yoga and working productively in teams. Thank you for your support this week.

Kind regards,
Nadia Byrne

We went out for a walk to find out what we could see & hear and was it living or non living?
What was living? The postman, Horse, blackbird, dog, trees, flowers, duck, pigeons & a squirrel in the graveyard.
What was not living?! Postman’s van, church, gates, wall, cars, houses, fire hydrant, bridge & tractor.
