3rd-6th travelled to the RDS today to the ESB Science Blast, over the last month or two we have been working as scientists to investigate the following questions, “Will doing 15 minutes of exercise everyday for one month increase our level of fitness?” and “Does the length of our legs have an effect on our speed?” The children to came up with the questions, carried out research, came up with a hypothesis, devised an actual experiment, gathered the data, analysed the results and came to a conclusion. It was great to have all of the children take the lead and they really enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish.
